Founded in London in 2017, AKK DESIGN is a design-led studio shaped by experience in some of the world’s leading practices. That foundation continues to inform our work across hospitality (including wellness & leisure), residential, and cruise & marine.
Our work balances creative vision with technical rigour — guiding projects from concept to completion. Our services span Architectural Design & Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Branding & Visual Identity, FF&E & Styling (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), Visualisation & VR (Virtual Reality), and Procurement & Delivery — ensuring a seamless, coherent narrative across every touchpoint.
With projects delivered across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, we bring a global outlook anchored in human-centred design. We work fluently in English, Greek, Slovak, Czech and Romanian, supporting clear communication and cultural understanding across regions.

Andrea Kaufmann — Creative & Project Director
Andrea leads the creative, strategic, and visual direction of client projects, shaping cohesive spatial and brand identities that elevate the user experience. With nearly two decades of global experience across luxury hospitality, cruise, residential, and mixed-use design, she guides each commission from early visioning through to completion. Her approach blends materiality, light, narrative, visual identity, and art and object selection into a unified design direction, ensuring every outcome is resonant, refined, and aligned with the client’s ambitions.
Michael Koutra — Partnerships & Commercial Director
Michael drives the agency’s commercial strategy and partnership development. He identifies opportunities, structures proposals, and establishes delivery frameworks that align scope, programme, and budget. Focused on long-term client value, he ensures creative intent aligns with operational precision, enabling projects to land smoothly and deliver measurable impact.
Together, they offer leadership that is both innovative and disciplined — guiding clients through complex projects with clarity, efficiency, and a future-focused perspective.
