Services we offer

Architectural Design & Interior Architecture

For new-build, refurbishment, and listed-building projects, AKK DESIGN leads architectural and interior design from concept to completion.

We shape the overall spatial vision holistically — responsive to context, constraints and opportunity. Where statutory submissions and regulated architectural scope are required, we collaborate with an ARB (Architects Registration Board)-registered architect (our trusted partner practice or the client’s appointed team).

Includes:

  • Architectural concept design and feasibility support

  • Spatial strategy, layouts and design development

  • Interior architecture: internal planning, partitions and key interfaces

  • Architectural liaison and coordination with the appointed architect and consultant team

  • Interior Architecture Drawing Package (construction-ready plans, sections, elevations, setting-out and key architectural details)

  • Tender support and contractor clarifications through delivery

Interior Design

Concept-to-detail design that elevates experience, atmosphere and functionality — translating the brief into a timeless, buildable outcome.

We shape the look, feel and performance of each space through materiality, lighting intent and detailing — with commercially aligned decision-making that protects quality and programme.

Includes:

  • Concept design, narrative and layout refinement

  • Materials, finishes and lighting direction

  • Joinery, feature elements and interior detailing

  • Value engineering (commercially aligned alternatives that protect design intent)

  • Interior Design Specification Package (tender-ready finishes and materials schedules, written specifications, and critical items)

  • Mock-up reviews and approvals (finishes, joinery and key details prior to roll-out)

  • Stakeholder alignment and approvals through key stages

Branding & Visual Identity

We translate each project’s story into a clear visual language — aligning brand, culture and strategy with the spatial experience.

From brand identity development to a full wayfinding and signage package, we create intuitive systems that improve navigation and consistently express brand identity through form, material and tone.

Includes

  • Brand identity development and translation into interiors (concept, visual language, guidelines)

  • Wayfinding strategy and information hierarchy (user journeys, sign families, messaging)

  • Signage concept and design direction (materials, finishes, illumination, accessibility)

  • Full signage and wayfinding pack: drawings, plans, elevations, schedules and locations

  • Detail design for fabrication and installation (setting-out, fixings, specs, key details)

  • Coordination with consultants, fabricators and suppliers through delivery

FF&E and Styling

Procurement-ready FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and styling that completes the concept — balancing aesthetics, durability and budget.

We specify, source and coordinate furniture, lighting and finishes with the end user in mind, protecting the design intent through samples, quality checks and installation styling. Supported by a trusted global supplier network built over 20+ years.

Includes:

  • FF&E specification and supplier coordination

  • Furniture design (bespoke pieces where it matters)

  • Art and object curation / commissioning

  • Samples, quality checks and installation styling

Visualisation & VR

From photorealistic CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) renders to VR (Virtual Reality) walkthroughs, we visualise your project long before completion — supporting design decisions, approvals, marketing and funding.

We bring clarity to complex projects by visualising spaces before they exist. Alongside CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), we use AI (Artificial Intelligence) concept visuals to accelerate early-stage exploration and option studies, helping stakeholders align quickly and confidently.

Includes:

  • Photorealistic CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) renders

  • 3D visualisation packages for approvals and marketing

  • VR (Virtual Reality) immersive walkthroughs

  • AI (Artificial Intelligence) concept visuals for rapid option exploration

  • Visual option studies to support faster sign-off

Procurement and Delivery

End-to-end governance that protects programme, cost and quality — turning design intent into a finished, operational space.

We manage the route from specification to installation with clear programme control, supplier coordination and on-site oversight — ensuring what is designed is what gets delivered.

Includes:

  • Project management and programme oversight

  • Procurement management and sourcing coordination (where in scope)

  • Contract administration support and documentation control

  • Site coordination with contractors, suppliers and consultants through installation

  • Quality reviews, snagging and close-out support

  • Handover coordination and documentation

  • Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals (where required) — including asset registers, warranties and maintenance guidance
